Johnson's video
My name is Bryan Johnson. I was born in 1974, six
weeks after my
parents, Dan and Gerri Johnson, arrived in Brazil for
the first time. I was saved at the age of
four. While still in grade school, God called me to
Brazil. Growing up in Brazil I learned the language,
the people, and the customs. I have watched and
learned things that work or do not work, to start and run
a church, in Brazil. I preached my first sermons in
Portuguese years before I preached in English. In
1995 I married my high school sweetheart,
Rebekah.
In May, 2000, I graduated from Hyles-Anderson
College. While at college I saw hundreds of people
saved and also served as a bus captain for a while.
While in Brazil, I have had the privilege of learning from
the best, Jimmy Rose, Garry Tyler, and my father.
While in the USA from
Dr. Evans,
Dr.
Hyles, Dr. Owens,
and Dr. Schaap.
The Lord has given Rebekah and me three wonderful
children, Jeff, David, and Lee. Together we are on
deputation to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, as
second-generation missionaries to Brazil. I am excited
about the opportunity of reaching São
Paulo, Brazil while we can.

Rebekah
Johnson's Video
Hello, my name is Rebekah Johnson. My parents moved to
the First Baptist Church of Hammond when I was six months
old. Due to hearing about
Dr.
Hyles and the deaf ministry, they decided to join. I
was able to attend a Christian school throughout my entire
education. Growing up at the great First Baptist Church of
Hammond, I have observed what First Baptist has done to
succeed. During my four years in high school I had
the privilege of seeing over 500 people saved. While
in college, before the birth of our first son, I was able
to help over 500 more people come to know Jesus as their
Saviour. Since then, I have graduated from
Hyles-Anderson College with a degree in Elementary
Education. I was very involved in our church before
going to Brazil. I was a WMS circle leader,
nursery worker, and helped in other areas as well. I
am a proud mother of three boys, Jeff, David, and Lee. I am so pleased that I
am with my husband and my family serving God in Brazil.
